Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

Discussion and awareness sessions with community representatives
In February 2022, AWEN conducted discussion and awareness sessions with community representatives, local groups, and institutions in various areas, including Lushnje, Rrogozhina, Krutje, Bubullimë, Kolonje, and Synej Kavajë. These sessions were an integral part of the project titled "Gender Equality is a right! Strengthening women's rights activism in remote areas of Albania." The meetings were organized with the support of the Public Relations Office of the US Embassy in Tirana, as a part of the Democracy Commission Program.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
