Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

Training: “Gender mainstreaming with a focus on the EU membership process”
The training session on "Gender mainstreaming with a focus on the EU membership process" was conducted. The participants from local organizations engaged in discussions about the significance of being well-informed about the importance of gender integration at institutional, political, sectoral, and organizational levels, as well as its application in the EU membership process. The training also emphasized the importance of gender analysis and monitoring of gender responsibilities. Practical information on implementing gender integration in projects was shared during the training.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
