Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

ARTIST TALK
The Women's Empowerment Network in Albania - AWEN, was part of the "Artist Talk" activity: "Next to a flower, next to something beautiful". The activity was organized on February 1, 2024, as part of the "Man of the Castle" exhibition, by the artist Blerta Kambo at the Center for Openness and Dialogue.
During the discussions, the artist shared with the public her artistic journey over the years, as well as her personal experience during the creation of the contemporary exhibition.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
