Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

AWEN NETWORK MEETING
With the participation of all member organizations, the meeting of the AWEN network took place on February 15 and 16, 2024 in Golem, Durrës. This two-day meeting aimed to advance the initiatives undertaken for the empowerment and protection of women's rights in our country through the sharing of experiences, best work practices and more.
The members of the network expressed that the discussions held will help them in the initiatives taken to empower women in our country.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
