Protection of criminal victims
During the last 6 months, AWEN has been defending 19 victims of criminal offenses in the District Courts. All cases have experienced crimes of gender-based violence against them and their family members.

Presentation of the study 'Sexual violence and sexual harassment - An analysis of the situation'
On December 7, 2022, the presentation activity of the study 'Sexual violence and sexual harassment - An analysis of the situation', carried out by AWEN, took place. This activity, held during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, brought together activists, young people, representatives of CSOs, institutions, embassies, etc. The presentation of the study was combined with the premiere of the documentary show produced by BIRN Albania, directed by Elton Baxhaku, on sexual harassment. The activity was moderated by Kristina Voko, BIRN Albania.
This AWEN activity and study were carried out with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Tirana / Sida within the program 'Protection and promotion of women's rights in Albania' 2022.
International Women's Rights Day
AWEN was part of the protest organized on March 8 on International Women's Rights Day against social injustices and inequalities.
