Workshop: “Presentation of the current situation regarding the services and resources (human and financial) available in the Municipality of Sarandë"

In the third week of March 2022, a workshop was organized in collaboration with Jona association. The workshop focused on the topic "Presentation of the current situation regarding the services and resources (human and financial) available in the Municipality of Sarandë." The main objective was to develop a concrete action plan with relevant recommendations. Members of ETN Saranda actively participated in the workshop.

This training session was conducted as part of the project "Strengthening the coordinated response of service providers from the police, health structures, education, and the local sector for the management of cases of all forms of violence against women, in accordance with the standards of CEDAW and the Istanbul Convention." The project is funded by the EU, supported by UN Women, and implemented by AWEN.

During the workshop, extensive discussions were held on the findings of the baseline report. We closely examined the shortcomings in services for victims of various forms of violence, assessed the actions taken by member institutions of the MKR to address this situation, and provided relevant recommendations for each finding.

Additionally, group work was organized to develop an action plan aimed at supporting and assisting victims of domestic violence and gender-based violence.
